Northern Star Management, Inc. and Northern Star Management of America, LLC (collectively “Northern Star”) and AEON Insurance Group, Inc. (”AEON”) announce today that they have entered a definitive agreement whereby Northern Star will acquire certain assets of AEON including their Automobile Haulers, Collateral Recovery and Towing business.  The target for a closing of the transaction is the end of February of this year.

The transaction and resulting operations will provide a full array of expanded insurance products and services to the existing producers of Northern Star and AEON.  This transition will be seamless for current producers of AEON.  The AEON insurance programs will continue to operate through an office in High Point, North Carolina, with administrative, underwriting, and support services provided through Northern Star operations located in New Jersey, California, and North Carolina.
